Class 6

Year 6 task:

At the beginning of the week, we continued with play rehearsals and last minute prop painting!  The children loved performing their production to you all.  We were so impressed with how well they all performed.   They got rave reviews from the Bidborough staff who watched it on Tuesday afternoon.  Thank you again for all your support with their brilliant costumes.

The Salus Workshop came to work with our class again this week.  The children looked at how we can think about certain situations (such as not being invited to a party) in different ways, and how some of our thoughts are helpful but some can be unhelpful.  The children then looked at different coping strategies to help with challenging situations such as deep breathing, art activities, doing sport and talking to friends.

It was fantastic to hear all about the children's transition days at their new schools.  I'm sure they all feel exhausted after such a busy week!   We hope you have a relaxing weekend and enjoy the sunshine.
